Центърът по технологии се намира на ул. „Костаки Пеев“ №21 и ние се гордеем с този факт, тъй като г-н Костаки Пеев е бил виден джентълмен на град Пловдив и ние дълбоко уважаваме нашите изключителни предшественици.
Г-н Костаки Пеев е първият кмет на град Пловдив, избран на 14 декември 1878 г. след Освобождението на България. Този виден мъж и първи джентълмен на свободния град Пловдив е бил двигател на многобройни градски политики и основател – наред с други господа – на Търговско-индустриалната камара на България през 1895 г., а също така е бил почетен председател на тази организация до 1898 г. В допълнение към публичното му участие, той е избиран няколко пъти за народен представител на българския парламент.
