The Centre of Technologies Building
The Centre of Technologies is situated at the 21, Kostaki Peev Street, and we are proud of this fact as Mr. Kostaki Peev was a prominent gentleman of the City of Plovdiv, and we deeply respect our outstanding predecessors.
Mr. Kostaki Peev was the first Mayor of the City of Plovdiv, elected on December 14, 1878, after the Liberation of Bulgaria. This prominent man and first gentleman of the free City of Plovdiv was a driver of numerous city policies and a founder – among other gentlemen – of the Trade and Industrial Chamber of Bulgaria in 1895, and also was an Honorable Chair of this organization until 1898. In addition to his public involvement, he was elected a few times as a Member of Parliament (MP) of the then Bulgarian parliaments.
